The 8^th  International Machinery and Electricity Exhibition.   

Under the Patronage of His Excellency the Prime Minister, JIMEX 2010, the 7th International Machines and Electro-mechanical Exhibition was held from 6^th to 9^th June 2010 at the Halls of Amman International Motor Show Center near the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. His Excellency the Minister of Industry & Trade Eng. Amer Hadidi representing His Excellency the Prime Minister has headed the opening ceremony. His Excellency the Minister of Energy Eng. Khaled Alirani; Mrs Friederike Hellner, Chargé d'Affaires of the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germanyt in Amman and NERC President had headed the opening of JIMEX Forum 2010, the Forum included a German Jordanian Presentation Day and two days for presentations and workshops in industrial automation and energy managment. Both Ministers have visited the booths accompanied by JEA President and Board and officials from German and Turkish Embassies in Amman.

JIMEX 2010 completed the seventh cycle successfully and is entering the next cycle with confidence in better economic environment. The event was able to reach or even to exceed its target. JIMEX is not only the event of “Face to Face Business” but could prove that it is really Event of “Eye to Eye Dialogue”. It is valuable platform to create business and trade relations. The organizers have received tens of statements including thanks and apprecitiation of well organized event.

The auditing report is under preparation and will be isseud in few days. More than 128 exhibitors, more than 4000 Sqm exhibiting space and more than 7000 attendants / trading visitors at JIMEX 2010.

According to the auditing report of BPA Worldwide of England, more than 6000 trade visitors / engineers / experts / businessmen and decision makers had attended JIMEX 2009. In JIMEX 2009, 124 Exhibitors had participated; international participation had exceeded 37%.

It is planned, Under the Patronage of His Excellency the Prime Minister, JIMEX 2011 will continue its success and will be organized in cooperation with our strategy partners, Jordan Engineers Association (JEA), National Energy Research Center (NERC), Tuyape of Turkey and other national and international organizations. JIMEX 2011 will take its place from 13^th to 16^th June 2011 at its traditional venue (Halls of Amman International Motor Show Center).

JIMEX Forum will be organized in cooperation with national and international organizations of major topics: Industrial Automation and Energy saving in the industrial machinery; in addition to professional workshops and promotional presentations.
